Today's post is a little photo-heavy, but can you honestly blame me? This skirt is such a dream! I can't get over this beautiful floral pattern--it's beautiful with a crisp white for spring but will also look darling this fall with a number of sweaters (I'm thinking navy, mustard, forest green...). I'm starting to slowly build my skirt collection in the hopes of having some looks that work more year-round and the quality of this one is promising to last me for years to come--important with a style as timeless as a circle skirt! I love that there are so many vintage styles that are still being recreated today!
When I found this skirt, I was initially only seeking a white blouse that would be a bit dressier than what I owned and would allow me to feel more appropriate donning my various skirts at church. When I came across this white peter pan collar blouse on Unique Vintage, it was actually styled with this exact skirt and I just fell in love! I immediately thought about how perfect it would be for fall, as well--something I always look for in a new piece of clothing. Unfortunately, this has also put me in an unshakable mood for all things autumn. There's just something to be said for that cozy feeling you get when there's a chill in the air and once our vacation has come and gone, I'm just kind of over summer.
