DIY Outdoor Murphy Bar - Like Honey

DIY Outdoor Murphy Bar

This post is sponsored by Westlake Ace Hardware, but all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting Like Honey!

Summertime is in full swing here in Missouri and I'm making the most of these hot, humid months with a quick little patio project from Westlake Ace Hardware! It's a DIY Outdoor Murphy Bar, takes minutes to put together, and is the perfect accompaniment to all of your summer BBQs!

All you'll need is a few cedar pickets (cedar keeps bugs away!), a couple of 1x6 boards, some decking screws, a few feet of jack chain + d-rings and hinges for the door, a paint brush and a gallon of your favorite paint--I love the Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines options available at Westlake Ace Hardware. They carry 150 hand selected timeless colors so you can perfectly recreate your favorite Fixer Upper styles at home. After a little deliberation, I ended up going with the shade "mineral green" and I think it turned out lovely! It was easy to find everything I needed right there in the store thanks to the help of the friendly staff; they even kept my kiddos entertained while I waited for the paint to mix up! We've got quiet a few paint projects in our near future, so I'm glad to know that there's a local shop where I can find all of the brands and accessories I trust for all of my home improvement projects!

This do it yourself outdoor murphy bar is the perfect place to prep a fresh batch of lemonade, mix up a few drinks, or even host a s'mores bar! The ideas are limitless and we have the whole summer to think up even more patio projects at Westlake Ace Hardware! What summer project will you tackle next?

Hi- I’m not seeing the plans to build this anywhere in your post. Can they be found on your site? Thanks so much! Mariah
