I remember wearing little jumper dresses as a kid in the 90's, usually with a turtleneck that I hated and itchy tights that I fought my mother tooth and nail over. This button front version is a fun way to upgrade an old classic, without looking childish. I love the length and that the color works with so many different tops! Funnily enough, I fully intended on wearing this jumper with a basic white sweater underneath (and probably will in future!), but when I pulled it out of my closet I saw this sweater from last fall sitting on top of my sweater pile and realized it was a perfect match! I love when I come up with new ideas right in my closet--it's great for my wallet!

As for accessories, I've fully embraced the beret this season! I love how it adds just a little something extra and that I don't have to worry about it taking off with any autumn breezes. It's also a great way to tame any wayward cowlicks if you're running short on time in the mornings (or hide unsightly third day hair when you run out of dry shampoo...)! This year, it was finally time for me to replace my everyday brown booties. I found these on a recent shopping trip and ended up loving them so much I bought them in two colors! They're very comfortable--wore them for the first time for an entire day walking with no blisters or discomfort, completely true to size--I almost always need a half size up for pointed toes but I got my usual 8 with these, and a versatile style that can be dressed up or down--the suede material and pointed toe looks chic with dresses and makes casual jeans + sweaters look more neat and pulled together.

The only complaint I'll add is that if you've wider hips, you might need to keep an eye on some of your lower buttons. The very bottom one kept popping open on me when I walked. It wasn't a big deal, as it wasn't in a revealing spot, but just something to keep in mind! I believe this pinafore is already being clearanced out so snag one fast before sizes run out!
