2022 Chicwish Clothing Haul + Honest Review

If you've been here very long at all, you'll know how much I love skirts and dresses. I practically wear nothing else! It's no wonder then, that I love the brand Chicwish for a lot of my wardrobe finds. They graciously reached out to me to work together on this blog post and I am so happy to share a full and honest review with you all! Read on to see the items I chose and my personal thoughts on them:

OUTFIT #1

Ivory Turtleneck (size S/M) // Plaid Mini Skirt (size M) // Wool Cape (size M)

Starting off with a bang, this has got to be one of my favorite outfits of all time. The skirt fits to perfection and is quite heavy! The turtleneck is also great quality; super soft and not too thin. I've wanted a cape for so long, so I jumped on the opportunity to try one out here. It is very warm, but I was a little sad that one of the buttons did pop off during my first wear! It was an easy fix, but definitely not the quality I usually expect from my Chicwish items.

OUTFIT #2

Another new favorite skirt to add to my collection! This piece is so flowy and lightweight! You can't help but twirl in it! I paired it with this pink blouse for this cooler weather but plan on wearing it with a tee or tank during the warmer months ahead. This blouse is actually very thick and well-made! It does run a little big--I got a size medium based on the size chart but definitely could have gone with a small. PS this skirt comes in a TON of colors and styles on the Chicwish website. I've linked a search here for you to browse them all!

OUTFIT #3

Isn't this one of the cutest dresses?! I just love the bow shoulder straps and the corset-inspired bust! Speaking of--I did have to have this dress taken in by my tailor since it was quite big in that area! I think if you are bustier it would work just fine, but I am pretty small-chested and had a huge gap under both arms. I maybe could have sized down but I liked the length and the fit in the hips so I opted to tailor it. Definitely check the size chart carefully for this one, but I can't recommend it enough otherwise! It's a great dress for brunch with your girlfriends, a warm-weather date night, or even a bridal shower!

OUTFIT #4

Floral Mini Skort (size S/M) // Green Tee (customized by me)

I had no idea this was a skort until I received it! I just love it, though! The shorts underneath are very stretchy and breathable. The skirt itself has a sweet flower embroidery throughout and is a great summer closet staple! I paired it with a knotted tee (this one is from Target, customized by me) and love the casual spring vibes.

OUTFIT #5

Last but not least, this one piece swimsuit with a matching coverup is for sure a new favorite! I was hesitant to order a swimsuit online, expecting the fit to be off, but I couldn't be more thrilled--this suit fits better than a lot of the suits I've tried on in stores over the years! I couldn't believe it! I would like to note that the top has a molded cup, nearly a push-up style, which may not be suitable for bustier gals. The kimono is a little itchy, but as a quick cover-up, it's a cute addition to a very cute suit. This set does come in a couple of other colors if burgundy isn't your jam.

So there you have it! Another successful Chicwish haul and I'm super happy with most of my items. I love the variety they offer on the website and the shipping wasn't too slow considering all the delays and coming overseas. I would like to see them expand their sizing to be a little more inclusive in the future--there are items that are plus friendly, but not many. I haven't checked out many of their accessory options yet, either. Maybe I could do another haul on that, soon!

If you'd like to see all of these pieces in action, I made a little outfit video over on Instagram and TikTok. You can find me there as @likehoneyblog for both accounts! Happy shopping!
